ITCSA stands for ‘Indian Telugu Civil Servants Association’. It is the informal group of Civil Servants hailing from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana working in different parts of India and abroad. The idea was conceived on 9th November, 2006 by Telugu Civil Servants of 80 Foundation Course (LABASNAA, Mussorie). clarification note on UPSC number of attempts and maximum age limit
With reference to the decision of the Competent Authority conveyed earlier on the website of the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension, the government has now released a clarification note giving a clear picture of the existing position in respect of number of attempts and maximum age limits for various categories of candidates and the changes as approved in number of attempts & age-limits consequent to providing two additional attempts.
According to the clarification note, following changes have been introduced in the number of attempts and maximum age limits:

07 for General/OBC & Unlimited for SC/ST

09 for General/OBC & Unlimited for SC/ST
Consequential maximum age- limits
32 years (30+2)
37 years (35+2)
35 years (33+2)
12 additional years in each category (30+12 for General, 35+12 for SC/ST & 33+12 years for OBC)
