Civil service exam - interview guidance programme on 23rd March 2014

Dear All,


ITCSA has organised an interaction session for civil service interview aspirants on 23rd March 2014 @ City Central Library, Chikkadapalli, Hyderabad. Many of the qualified aspirants along with some other civil service aspirants have attended the programme. This programme was co-ordinated by Smt.Balalatha IDAS, Shri.Ake Ravikrishna IPS,Shri.Nikhil IRPS and Shri.Balaram IRS. As per the request of the aspirants, ITCSA is planning to conduct free mock-interviews on 30-03-2014(sunday). All the qualified aspirants are requested to get their names registered, by sending their DAF forms to itcsa2006@gmail.com.

Hrudaya Spandana Foundation Walk on March 2nd, 2014

Popular Actor Sri Pavan Kalyan garu & famous film Director Sri Trivikram garu has  graced the launching of  Hrudaya Spandana Foundation on March 2nd, 2014 at Necklace Road, opposite PVR Ghat,Hyd. along with senior civil service officers and professionals from all walks of life. Thousands of people gathered to witness the flagging off of this noble proposal followed by a march under the theme "Walk for Heart, Reach for a Heart". ITCSA has consented to support this noble cause and many of our ITCSA members have already trying their best to materialise this noble idea..

clarification note on UPSC number of attempts and maximum age limit

The Central Government on 10 February approved 2 additional attempts to all the categories of candidates aspiring for UPSC Civil Service Examinations. Aspirants can avail the two more attempts with effect from Civil Services Examination 2014.

With reference to the decision of the Competent Authority conveyed earlier on the website of the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension, the government has now released a clarification note giving a clear picture of the existing position in respect of number of attempts and maximum age limits for various categories of candidates and the changes as approved in number of attempts & age-limits consequent to providing two additional attempts. 

According to the clarification note, following changes have been introduced in the number of attempts and maximum age limits:

Launching of Hrudaya Spandana Foundation on March 2nd, 2014 at Necklace Road

Dear All,

Prajahitha, a social service organization, in a selfless effort to contribute it's part to the greater good of the society, is joining hands with Dr.A.Sharath Reddy,MD DM,Cardiologist,Director-Sunshine Heart Institute & his team, to launch the  ‘Hrudaya Spandana Foundation’.This non-profit endeavor will cater to the poor and the needy, especially underprivileged children suffering from birth (congenital) defects, youngsters at risk for heart diseases due to unhealthy lifestyle habits, women, and to unorganized sections of the society. 

 ITCSA, an informal group of Civil Servants hailing from Andhra Pradesh, is known for it's societal concern and sensibilities and was a supporter for many righteous causes.We hope, our association with ‘Hrudaya Spandana Foundation can make a positive impact on the society,in the right direction. Hence we have consented to support this noble cause and many of our ITCSA members have already trying their best to materialise this noble idea..

Regardingly, popular actor Sri Pavan Kalyan garu has consented to grace the occasion and also senior officers and professionals from all walks of life. An assembly of at least 10,000 volunteers and spectators is expected to turn up for the event which will be held on March 2nd, 2014 (6AM onwards) at Necklace Road, opposite PVR Ghat, to witness the flagging off of this noble proposal followed by a walk under the theme “Walk for Heart, Reach for a Heart”.

ITCSA requests all of you to participate in this event and support the noble cause.
